Advvy in Tallinn

Advvy started 4 years ago from Brisbane, Australia, where Chris, who worked in a media agency, and Tristan, a radio salesperson, decided to find a solution to the problems which they faced on both sides of the business. By now their product and offering has resulted in working with GroupM in different markets around the world.

Advvy’s aim is to offer a global tool for media agencies to better manage their everyday work processes without losing client specific information. Advvy has been built upon the Microsoft Dynamics platform as they have received great support from the company. (A picture below showing Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, personally noting them at a conference.)

Basically, you can see Advvy as the same solution as Scoro, a CRM and a workflow management tool, but with a media planning base and being more customised to the needs of a media agency. Advvy offers an automated media planning template which has been co-developed together with TrinityP3 (https://www.trinityp3.com/) on an Excel base. The template has a direct connection to Advvy which allows it to transfer the data immediately to the platform. It is also possible to customise the template to suit the complex needs of a global client who provides their own templates.

We have been working on the automatisation project for over a year now to find the best possible solutions for our complex agency needs. The progress has come with some success – having tried and tested different platforms, proposed different solutions to different stakeholders, but roughly arriving back to the same point. The solutions have been either too expensive, too rigid or too complex for our needs. Apparently it’s the same in the bigger markets (US, UK, Denmark, Australia etc). Now Advvy, offering a working solution on a licence basis, seeks to provide the answer in a way as would suit us the most.

We met with Advvy roughly 6 months ago, thanks to GroupM Nordic, whom we got in contact a year ago. We made occasional calls and online meetings to discuss various automatisation possibilities and through one of them, reached Advvy.

Last month Chris, the CEO of Advvy, came to Tallinn to personally introduce the platform to our directors and owners. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the platform and the opportunities that Advvy offers to the management to get them on-board first. As to try such a solution, there’s always a monetary aspect to it. With it to see whether they actually see any value within such offering.

Today we can talk about an agreed Proof-Of-Concept (POC = 1 client team, 1-2 months of testing) for Mediacom Estonia as they have shown their ability to cope with such projects (they were one of the fastest teams ever to implement Scoro in Scoro’s history).

Advvy has proven themselves with Mediacom Australia, with a partnership lasting over 1.5 years now where Mediacom has won big clients thanks to Advvy’s platform. The magic word has been “transparency” in the workflow. By showing an effective and clear, client integrating solution, the clients have been impressed enough to pick them as winners.
In addition to Australia, Advvy has started a project with GroupM North America with on-boarding the first 150 people with an option to add extra 2000. Also, they are working with GroupM Nordic to start to test with one client in all 4 markets (Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark).
