Justtag Group is a Polish based startup focused on digital marketing solutions who just recently participated within the Polish GroupM mSpark startup accelerator. There they made a pilot work for Triumph (a woman’s lingerie shop) where they analysed offline visits at Triumph stores in Poland. They also have another case done for a KIA dealer.
What they offer in short is a retargeting based on the locations where a device has been. In detail, it’s a code which needs to be implemented within an app where it will track all of the WiFi networks the device has been close to. A cookie will be associated with the device and be saved in the system. The cookie (initially was built for Google retargeting, but they mentioned it’s possible to do with Adform) will be exported from the system and used in a DSP to serve online ads.
To track the WiFi network, the device doesn’t need to be connected to the WiFi network as it will just save the network’s name and its strength what it picked up.
This is a good way to start tracking your offline visitors and converting them back online. More information available from the Sales Deck and a case study below.
